Product Overview
This 1928 Canadian cross with 'Early Alberta' is vigorous and self-fertile with a reliable abundance of medium-large yellow fleshed and lightly blushed freestone peaches. They are easy to peel and somewhat coarse, which lends them wonderfully to freezing, drying, canning, baking, and of course eating fresh. Its fragrant and gorgeous pale pink, mid-spring blooms are extremely resistant to frost damage, even in full flower. This sturdy peach is an ideal cold-hardy cultivar for a variety of climates, including gardens at high altitudes or where springs are especially wet and cold. 900 chill hours. S/M
