Product Overview
A lovely, fragrant, and vigorous California native sub-shrub selection, from the rocky slopes of the Russian River. Beneficial pollinators of all kinds are attracted to its plentiful, 2", shaggy, lavender, ball-like blooms all summer. Foliage is semi-fully evergreen, but the plants may be cut back in fall or winter to maintain fullness. Some clay soils may be tolerated, though well-drained and even gravelly soils are preferred, and this beauty grows well under oaks. Some brew tea with the leaves for medicinal purposes. A wonderfully versatile plant for xeriscapes, rock, native, and pollinator gardens. S-PSh/DGdr
