An extremely adaptable rose native to North America and British Columbia that generally grows in moist or riparian areas yet is also adaptable to dry soils. One inch bright-pink flowers are followed by rounded, pear-shaped, red hips which appear in clusters on this densely growing, thicket forming 6-8' shrub with its coarsely-toothed compound leaves.
