Showy in all seasons, this gorgeous little shrub is a cross between Pyracantha and Osteomeles. Its profusions of tiny, white, spring flowers lead to loads of pea-sized berries in late summer-early fall. The many vivid berries start out bright orange and mature red, contrasting beautifully with its deep, evergreen foliage. The shrub has a desirably quirky habit, and pruning is not feasible due to the potential of losing flowers and berries.
