Bold golden-yellow spikes of peal-like flowers proliferate well above the wide base of dense foliage, for weeks, beginning in late-spring or early summer. After blooming, if left to fruit, round seed pods will persist through fall. This is a gorgeous, low-maintenance, long-lived choice to fill a large space as a specimen in the garden, prairie plantings, rain gardens or for pollinators to enjoy en masse.
