A remarkably showy form of this 50' columnar and elegant tree, in winter its slender tip-drooping branches are a brilliant orange-scarlet (best color comes from coppicing, pruning or pollarding). The summer foliage is silky-haired and makes a billowy, silvery mass. This is a very lovely willow and it adds a lot of wintertime interest to the landscape. S/M-W
