This beautyberry is exceptionally showy! Beginning in spring when its new foliage emerges deep-dark purple. In summer the leaves contrast beautifully with the bright-white flowers which yield incredible masses of purple berries. This shrub has a nice upright habit to 4-6' making it a perfect specimen plant. Callicarpa are self-fertile, so you only need one to get a good crop of berries. S/M PP28312
