Truly the most remarkable of all willows! When this delightful species was first discovered, this it was thought to be a Magnolia so similar are its large, to 10", leaves! It became pretty clear it was not a Magnolia when the amazing 4-11" catkins appeared spring. This wonderful 10-20' Chinese tree has pretty purple stems. Beautiful as a specimen or focal point and awesome for creating a tropical feel in the garden. S/M-W
